Description
The auto refresh will give up after so many failed attempts to find new entries. It works by just auto clicking the refresh button. That button could be displayed if the limit is reached to manually trigger a restart of it.

Instead of reaching a give up point simple push the refresh time further and further out until a maximum polling rate is hit (e.g. 1 attempt every 5 minutes?).

Not really necessary. Just refresh the page or have the give-up time get longer and longer.
