I have no category images for my groups, so I changed the view of category images in the plugin to the description of the group. That is the only thing, I've changed.

I disabled all plugins except the Groupjive tab and the username was still displayed. After that I moved the field "formatname" to a disabled tab and the username was even still displayed.

BUT: When I move the field "username" to a disabled tab, its displayed fine - but I have set to not show this field in the settings so I think your plugin seems to call the field "username" somewhere in the code.

What is your name format set to in CB Configuration on the General tab?

Its set to single name field and only username.

That's the issue. Name Format defines how formattedname field will format. You've set it to username; this means username is going to show.

But I don't want to show any name field in the General settings tab. How can I achieve this? I already set formatname and username to not show on profile.

If you want to remove name from the tab then you'll have to edit the tab and remove it. Again, formattedname is a different field from username, name, firstname, etc...

I don't have a field called formattedname, I only have formatname. And regardless of what I do with this field - the username is displayed in the General Settings tab on the profile.

But when I do something with the field username, i see it on the General settings tab. Lets explain this like I did in the first post:

I have the field username, I set it to not show on profile, but when I enable your plugin, it does. I don't want this. When I set "Show on 1 line" its shown two times.

I solved it now myself. I deleted all references to $name and also the td's that displayed the avatar of the group owner, now everything is fine and I have a lightweight module :)
