Description

This cookie would authorize any following registration to be permitted. Once consumed get rid of the cookie. It should just contain the invite code. Next implement support for CB Connect to somehow be invite only as well so that CB Connect registrations can only be done if a valid invite is available.

This could also be used to have invite only sites without requiring the invite field to be present on registration form.

It's currently stored in session, but that might not be reliable as guest sessions expire quickly.
