This is to support payment authentication like 3DS and any other payment authentication methods provided by Stripe.

This is no longer in Beta and will be required sometime before September due to EU secure payment regulations.

This should be optional and not required with a parameter (name: Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)) to just toggle on 3-D Secure, which will cause payment intents to be ued.
