CB Blogs strips Joomla added tags on save

When joomla content storage is used in CB Blogs and tags are added via the Joomla content editing methods any new saves via the CB Blogs UI options will strip these tags.

Perhaps something can be done to either support tags in case of Joomla storage or at least not strip them.

One of the advantages of useing the Joomla storage for CB Blogs is that users can use extra Joomla features (layout, etc).
