Custom row display with show empty fields set to no causes broken substitutions
Description
Since the fields have nothing to output they don't get added to the substitutions list. This results in their substitutions being broken. It should suppress the display entirely if there's no fields to output and it should force the substitutions for empty fields to just be empty so the substitutions work, but output nothing.

This specifically applies to the custom [title_FIELD_NAME], [description_FIELD_NAME], and [field_FIELD_NAME] substitution usages. Normal [FIELD_NAME] usages will behave correctly.
