Description
Review adding support for K2 permissions for category access. Needs thorough testing as it may block registered users from creating blog posts on a default K2 install so may need to be an optional check.

K2 support will end in CB 3.x. Not worth the effort to add more support for it now. K2 appears to be on maintenance support (been a year since it was last updated) and does not appear to be planned for Joomla 4. It's largely unnecessary now given core Joomla content is quite powerful.
