Description

Just tried this for a site I am making for Rena.

Joomla 1.5.15
CB 1.2.1

Greek language files for Joomla and CB installed
Greek language is specified as default.

Tried to put Greek characters in registration form and user was created correctly.
User full name also displayed ok in summary view, but when clicking on username in backend the CB contact tab shows ??? instead of Greek characters.

See attached images.

Are you sure to use the right language plugin and that the file is really utf-8 (UTF8 for joomla 1.5 ?)

Was not able to confirm using the greek translation for user (χρήστη) as first name with English language as default as well as Greek language for default.

Ok, turned out to be a JP Hosting issue that caused the collation of all CB related tables to be latin_swedish instead of proper utf8.

Manually updated the collation in the database and things save just fine now.

Closing ticket.
