username and password recovery fails to function in IE

Description
When using username or password recovery and selecting the checkboxes it results in nothing happening (JS appears to not function). Results seen in IE8 and IE8 Compatibility (IE7).

Can not duplicate locally, on live test sites, or on Joomlapolis. Issue appears present on the specific users site only. Perhaps a conflict or an error in some other form of JS the user is using? They appear to have many extensions loading JS.
