Way to test:

1. Make a public user list with username and avatar in one column and other data in a second column

When viewing as a logged in user everything works fine.

If a public viewer clicks on the avatar or username link the proper profile will come up.

If however the public viewer clicks on some other position on the userlist row, then a different profile might appear or an error

Update:
It looks like this is caused by the Privacy plugin - when I disable it linking works.

Likely due to profile privacy causing the users row to be removed from the list, which is causing the userlist jQuery linking to mess up (probably breaking the indexes).
