Update: it happens only on our joomlapolis hosting - we cannot replicate locally

Update: could be a php 5.3 vs 5.2 issue.

Was able to find that when setting Use new div or old table based views to Use divs (tableless output) causes the title param to not properly function. Once changed back to tables it works fine again.

Added same method used for tables to show/hide field title and tested working.
