Quick Messages display ok but lead to extra line break chars in uddeIM email notifications

As reported here:

was able to replicate locally.
It looks like if a PM is sent via quickmessage method the resulting email message sent by uddeIM looks like:
Hi paulina,
admin has sent you the following private message at CB20TUTORIALS. Please log in to reply!
