This is a minor (imo) issue reported here:

and verified by me on a CB 2.0.5 latest build.

Regardless if Username field Show on Profile setting is set to No, the visibility icon (in edit mode) always indicates that the field is visible.

That's working as intended. There's no way to guarantee the username will not be visible. For example you may shut off its profile display, but that doesn't stop formatname field displaying it, the page title displaying it, or various plugins displaying it. Since you can't guarantee it won't be visible it's better to always indicate that it will be visible.
